This blog is a huge thank you to The Health Lottery and Simon Cowell who hosted The Health Lottery Tea Party at the Savoy Hotel on Tuesday 30 October to celebrate £100 million being raised through The Health Lottery.

One of the charities I am involved with supports a Parent & toddler group which gives so much to the families. It was a great pleasure and honour to be invited to the Savoy and to say I had a wonderful time is an understatement. I was swept off my feet on the red carpet, had my picture taken with Simon Cowell who by the way is a very generous man and had a delightful afternoon tea with champagne.

I met some wonderful people and celebrities who came to share the day. The atmosphere was electric and I went home feeling so blessed and grateful to have been part of it.

When opportunity knocks I urge you to welcome it and see where it takes you. I did exactly that and found it exceeded all my expectations.

Sometimes life can be so simple if we just let it.
